What Is The Difference Between Hemp Oil And Hemp Extract?

Some companies and brands have created much confusion between these terms. Hemp oil refers to Hemp Seed Oil. Some may infer that hemp seed oil carries hemp extract and cannabinoids. Oil from hemp seeds is primarily composed of dietary fats, these are beneficial for your skin but do not include the phytocannabinoids. These phytocannabinoids are found naturally in the leaves and flowers of hemp. After extracting the cannabinoids from hemp flower during our production process, we’re left with a full-spectrum hemp extract that retains a range of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids - all of which are found naturally in hemp. This extract is then used to make the final Green Ridge full-spectrum products. Our THC Free products are made with the same extract but processed further to remove any THC.
